Dentistry.

Committed to your oral health. Whatever it takes.

At Ultimate Smile Dentistry, our Toronto dental clinic is equipped with the technology, materials and a knowledgeable team to treat a wide range of conditions, from a single damaged tooth to complex multi-treatment plans.

We always take the most conservative approach possible, preserving as much natural tooth structure as we can.

Dental Implants

Dental implants are widely regarded as the gold standard for replacing missing teeth — and for good reason. A small titanium post is surgically placed into the jawbone, where it fuses naturally with the surrounding bone over a period of a few months.

Once fully integrated, a custom crown, bridge, or denture prosthesis is secured on top, creating a result that looks, feels, and functions just like a natural tooth. Unlike dentures or bridges, implants preserve the jawbone and adjacent natural teeth by eliminating the need to drill or alter them for support. Implants also prevent neighbouring teeth from shifting — a fixed, low-maintenance solution that can last decades with proper care.

Dr. Jelena and associates will carry out a detailed clinical and radiographic assessment to determine whether implants are the right option for you, based on your bone density, overall health, and dental goals.

Root Canals

Root canal therapy has an undeserved reputation. With today's techniques, advanced technology and local anesthesia, most patients are surprised to find the procedure no more uncomfortable than a standard filling — and it remains one of the most effective ways to save a tooth that would otherwise need to be extracted.

Root canal treatment is needed when the soft pulp tissue inside the tooth becomes inflamed or infected — usually due to deep decay, a crack, or dental trauma. During treatment, the infected tissue is carefully removed, the canals are cleaned and shaped, then sealed with a material called gutta-percha. A filling is placed to cover the access and a protective crown is ultimately placed. The tooth loses sensitivity to temperature but remains fully functional and can last just as long as a natural tooth with proper care.

Soft Tissue Laser Dentistry

Ultimate Smile Dentistry uses a DenMat soft tissue dental laser for a range of gum and tissue treatments — offering precise treatment with less bleeding, faster healing, and minimal post-operative discomfort. In most cases, no stitches are required.

The high-energy beam sterilizes the treatment area as it works, reducing the risk of bacterial infection and promoting faster tissue regeneration. For patients who might otherwise avoid certain gum treatments, laser dentistry makes the process far more comfortable and accessible.

  • Accelerating the healing of cold sores and canker sores

  • Crown lengthening and removal of excess gum tissue

  • Removal of benign oral lesions and tumours

  • Gum contouring for cosmetic improvement

Extractions

Extracting a tooth is always a last resort — but when a tooth is too severely decayed, fractured, or infected to be saved, removal is often the most practical option.

At Ultimate Smile Dentistry, before beginning, we always ensure that you are fully comfortable, and we approach every extraction with care and attention to promote a safe and smooth procedure. Simple extractions are performed under local anesthesia in our Danforth clinic and are typically far less involved than patients anticipate.

We always discuss tooth replacement options — including implants, bridges, or dentures — before the extraction, so you leave with a clear plan for what comes next.

Dental Surgery

Our team has extensive experience with a range of minor oral surgical procedures, including surgical extractions, implant placement, and other procedures requiring more than a routine approach.

All surgery is performed under local anesthesia with a full post-operative care plan in place. For cases that require a specialist — oral surgeons, periodontists, or endodontists — we maintain a trusted referral network and will coordinate your care seamlessly, keeping you informed every step of the way.

Dentures

Dentures remain one of the most accessible and effective solutions for replacing multiple missing teeth, restoring your ability to eat, speak and smile with confidence, while also being removable.

We take the time to get your dentures exactly right. Detailed impressions are taken, your prosthetic is custom-fabricated by a registered dental laboratory, and adjustments are made until the fit, function and appearance meet your expectations. Immediate dentures are also available for patients who require extractions and prefer not to go without teeth during the healing period.
